My son’s 1st birthday party last May 25, 2008 at Tramway Garden Buffet at Timog Ave. Q.C., Phils.

Theme: Finding Nemo

Venue set up: Kidstarkastles (10+++++)
They managed to turn the venue where everyone could really feel your theme. Such a colorful venue that kids never thought of going home, adrenaline never ceases in their system as the entire place is truly wonderful! Imma and her team are truly very creative and helpful. highly recommended…less worries!

Foodcart: Ice Cream (c/o kidstarkastles) (10++++)
It was a blast both for kids and adults. We ordered for 150 guests and yet it still goes beyond the agreed content.

Cakes: Kitchen Krafts (c/o kidstarkastles) (10++++)
At first im really having a hard time to decide what size of cake to order, coz im having this feeling that it’s gonna be a waste if it’s sweet and most of the family can’t consume sweet pastires but then…my expectation were met…it’s not that sweet and it’s really moist.

Cupcakes: Cake Fashion (10++++)
I ordered a baptismal theme cuppies as a token for our guests. It was a hit both for kids and adults. The cake artist is easy to deal with and have done a truly cutie cuppies for my son, so adorable that the guests can’t wait to get hold of it.. after the event everyone has been calling me to compliment such. Not that sweet and so moist that their kids want to have such for their birthdays!

Host/Magician: Flooch (10++++)
Flooch is so professional. He’s at the venue very early. Great to have him you don’t have to worry how to entertain the kids and adults, he already had his attention already for they have been coaching their children during the games where their kids have participated.

Souvenirs: c/o leth of businessshoppe (10)
Tumblers for godparents
Mug for grandparents and other relatives

Loot Bags: lootbags c/o DNK party shop (10)
goodies from supermarket

Photo Coverage : Melvin Sia (10++++)
Very prompt and very easy to deal with…professional and he was able to make my son smile even with on his tantrum state…all in all…thumbs up! right after the party we already have the cd pictures taken during the event.

Video Coverage: John Aguas (10+++)

highly recommended! no hassle transaction eventhough we only close our deal thru text messages he was able to pull off all the important points during the event. they’re very precise with the edited video….at their price you get the quality you’ll need to save the events highlights.

Prizes: Toy Kindom and Anding’s (10+)
kids were attracted to all the toys and gameboards that we have bought that we didn’t encounter any problems for the kids to participate.

Invitation: DIY c/o hubby (10++++)
Two thumbs up! inspite of his busy schedule he finds time to accommodate this task for our son.

Pinata: kidstarkastles (10++++)
cute and colorful! hahaha. most of my guest wants to bring this home with them.

Face Paint w/ glimmer: c/o kidstarkastles (10++++)
kids and adults enjoyed this activity so much.

Fever Dilemma

Why? of all dates…why now?! im not saying im the one who has a fever but my beloved son just got a fever this noon and we still don’t know the reason.  I called his pedia and she advised us to observe…and she told us that maybe he’s about to catch cough or cold .  Geez! hubby and i have been toying the idea of going out to celebrate his birthday for a change…and now…!what a surprise!  this is supposed to be the first birthday of my hubby as Daddy..oh well..Life is so…full of surprises!

birthday | bday | brithday

it has come to my attention that it’s already April 4 and yet still i can’t polish all the details needed for my son’s birthday.  maybe it’s true that once you’ve become a parent it’s very apparent that we, as parents are more excited for their birthday celebration.
as of now…still…
1. i can’t find the right souvenir for his godparents.

2. i can’t decide if kiddie chairs/tables are needed during the event given that the venue has a stage that im thinking it will be more complicated for the kids if the host way too higher than to view the programme eye level or 3-4 heads higher.

3.  i can’t decide…if souvenirs are needed for all the adult guest, knowing that a kiddie party should focus on kids…however there are guests that i know of that still kids-at-heart and still regards themselves as kids.
